Roll Forging
Blades are forged in an instant by passing the blade steel properly heated in a furnace through the self-developed roll forging machine.
This is a technology representative of Hokiyama Cutlery, filled with know-how on roll die maintenance and stabilizing the blade within the targeted thickness deviation.
work process
Sufficiently heated steel is transferred to the roll forging machine.
The Clad Steel that has passed through the roll forging machine is forged into a shape where the edging side is thin and the peak side is thick.
